On the Bottom Dive Club has been in existence for 15 years. It is a club for divers who want to learn, have fun and of course socialize. The meetings are very informal--no gavel banging, or treasurer's report to bog us down. Each meeting offers attendees the opportunity to meet other divers, of all levels--warm water divers, or cold water divers, technical or recreational. Additionally, our guest speakers might be anyone from a Marine Biologist to a Sales Rep from one of Blue Water Divers many lines of quality scuba products and very ofter showcase new products, or even a representative from one of the many dive travel destinations! For a minimal investment in our raffle, you can walk away with anything from a Marine ID book to a state-of -the-art dive computer.
On the Bottom offers fun activities for divers and NON-divers--a Night a the Races, the premiere of the latest 3D IMAX film, Project Aware Beach Clean-ups and more. If you're new to On the Bottom, and would like to attend a meeting, you can do so for a nominal entry fee. Hope to see you there!!! By the way, new student are admitted as "guests"!

	Sept Meeting The September meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 9/1. It will be held at Illlusions at the Sheraton Crossroads. It will begin at 7:30 p.m.
	About Our Dive Club The only way we could make our club meetings better would be to pay for your drinks! So--don't count on it. This is a dive club for divers. What do divers do best? Tell stories, tell more stories, drink a little, and tell more stories. The stories are about local diving, recreational, technical, exotic, wets suit, drysuits, photographic (underwater, of course). Never been to one of our meetings? Give it a try. I'm pretty sure you'll like it! Have your read "Shadow Divers"? NO? Well get on it, then. YES, our club was the first to hear the words written in the book to be spoken by John Chatterton, himself. Questions about Underwater Photography? Ask any one of the many talented U/W photographers who have given presentations--OR speak to the professionals from Olympus. Questions about Rebreathers? Were you at the meeting when Silent Diving gave their presentation? See what you're missing. Come on . . . get with it!!!!
