A child can be as young as 10 years old to become a certified SCUBA diver. Very often, the kids are better in class, than the adults, and certainly their parents. Of course, it is up to the discretion of the parent whether they believe their child is responsible enough to SCUBA dive. Keep in mind, that at 10 years old, the child will receive a junior certification, which means they will dive with someone over the age of 18. Continuing education in SCUBA is always recommended, and children aren't an exception. Once a child reaches 12, they can continue with con-ed at a junior level. When the child reaches the age of 16, some new paperwork is filled out and a small administrative fee is charged to be upgraded to adult. By the way, many colleges actually offer college credits for some SCUBA certifications.

	SCUBA DAY CAMP If you want your kids to learn to scuba dive and move toward achieving scuba diving certification, stop scratching your heads about what to do with their kids this summer now have an exciting new Day Camp to consider.
	Kids Parties Bubblemaker is an "experience" scuba diving session for kids who are at least 8 years old, who would like to learn to scuba dive. Your child will have a very brief classroom session and then do a dive in our pool with an instructor. They don't know it, but the child is in control at all times, with the instructor observing the comfort level of the child allowing the child to decide whether they would like to proceed. Kids always finish up their session telling us it's the most amazing thing they've ever done, and that they can't wait until they can get certified.
